Central Oregon Locavore was founded in April 2009 by Nicolle Timm-Branch, a Bend native who is dedicated to the local food scene.

Locavore provides access to fresh, in-season, nutrient-dense local food to all members of the community. Locavore’s education, outreach, and gatherings serve to support sustainable food systems within Central Oregon, with the mission to educate the community about the benefits of fresh and nutritious food produced sustainably by local farmers and ranchers.

The Central Oregon Veterans Ranch is a working ranch that restores purpose and spirit to Veterans of all ages and eras. They strive to provide a welcoming environment for Veterans to find pathways for healing and connection in a natural
setting, with Veteran peer support. They offer established agricultural programs to meet Veterans interests such as agri-therapy and vocational development.

COVR helps Veterans find “sameness” through meaningful peer encouragement and engagement in the community, while also encourage Veteran self-development for reintegration and connection with soul, body, and mind.

Lark Ranch Rescue & Rehabilitation is a veterinarian-run sanctuary with a focus on rescue, rehabilitation, and hospice care for animals of all species.
