I don’t have to deal with an installation fee and there’s no equipment to rent or purchase”
Offer internet to tenants or guests at no cost to you and attract tenants by advertising low cost internet! Community environments are typically best suited as Wifi managed for internet service. The vast majority of devices come Wifi ready which makes getting connected easy. What happens if you do not make this amenity available? Everyone gets their own wireless access point setup. As you can see with the image below, interference is intense and poor service quality results. Moreover, the costs associated with getting a private connection are much higher.

Hotels & Resorts
In today’s digitally connected world, guests’ desire for access to the Internet during their stay in a hotel or resort is strong and growing. Whether it is to connect a mobile device, iPad, laptop, gaming console or hand-held gaming device for play, streaming movies or for work, guests indicate their most important hotel amenity is wireless Internet access. This is the case in nearly every segment.

For corporate parks, schools, public facilities and other campuses we have extensive experience making Wifi omnipresent. We talk to people to get to know their habits and devices. We also think ahead to potential future applications such as installing security cameras in previously inaccessible areas. We establish a strong foundation for access by setting up high-speed internet backhauls to our towers and other broadband endpoints. Then comes the science of proper Wifi network planning, including node placement, antenna diversity, gain patterns, and appropriate topology for maximum coverage, taking all obstacles into consideration. With so many puzzles to solve, gear to install and buttons to push, you can count on Webformix to take you to Wifi Nirvana.
The VROA and RVV time share communities at Eagle Crest Resort approached Webformix to provide a comprehensive Wifi system covering 144 units. The project presented many challenges, including large geographic gaps between units, many trees and other obstructions between units, no access to high bandwidth connections to feed the system, limited power availability and aesthetic constraints. To further add to the difficulty of the project, the community did not have a budget or funds allocated for this system, either for initial installation, or ongoing maintenance. Webformix came up with a turn-key solution that met every requirement.
First, Webformix agreed to fund and maintain the project in exchange for Wifi hotspot exclusivity rights for these two communities, offering reasonable daily, weekly and monthly fees for use of the system.
Then Webformix strategically deployed a handful of small wireless back hauls throughout the Eagle Crest campus that leveraged Webformix’s existing Central Oregon high speed wireless network to feed the new Wifi network with high-speed internet.
Next Webformix employed a Wifi mesh system from Meraki (now a Cisco company) to help provide the blanket coverage desired, despite the large geographical gaps, trees, and other obstructions. Meraki’s automated registration and billing system, along with their node monitoring and management dashboard, allowed for a fast deployment and easy monitoring and management of nodes that lead to excellent patron quality of service.
After a year of filling in additional coverage areas and fine tuning, the project was deemed a huge success by all parties involved. The board of the VROA and RVV in essence received a full featured Wifi network installed for basically nothing, and the patrons finally had access to inexpensive, quality, high-speed internet.
Webformix provided us [Eagle Crest] with a complete turn-key wireless hot-spot solution. Their management and support options allow us to offer our patrons great service, without having our IT department deal with the headaches of running a large scale wireless deployment.”
