FAQ: Does your system use WiMAX or is it WiMAX compatible?

Our Value service tiers use 2.4GHz gear based on a 5th generation 802.11B/G wireless network. Our Basic, Plus and Premium tiers use carrier grade WiMAX equipment over FCC licensed spectrum. Either of these systems can interoperate with home WiMAX or WIFI networks. For instance, you can use your WiMAX, WIFI, or 802.11n wireless access point/router connected to our wireless modem to provide coverage in your house. At this time however you may only use our equipment to get the signal to your house.
